Interested in Freelancing?

Want to Understand What You're Getting Into?

So, you're interested in freelancing?

Before people choose to freelance, they should have the most accurate picture of the freelance reality before starting the journey.

Simply put, you should know what you're getting yourself into before you begin.

And to start your discovery, that exploration should include understanding your potential upside.

What If...

Over the last decade, you generated $1.5 million as a freelancer; six figures each year?

What if this year, you only worked 4 hours a day for only 19 days each month?

How would that much time and money have changed your life?

How would you feel?

How would your life be different?

What would you have been able to do?

Arriving at Freelance Heaven: Income & Time Upside

As a freelancer, that description above is my story. I earn six figures every year and only have to work 4 hours a day for 19 days in a month. It didn't happen overnight, but if you stick with, and overcome all the challenges, it's possibly your future .

Since I have more work than I have time to do, I have the option of working more hours to earn more income. Or, I have the option to simply charge more for my time to earn more.

And speaking of time, I only work 19 half days every month. That means if I wanted to, I could work 9-10 days each month and take the remainder of the month off.

What could you do with that time? What trips could you take? What could you do with your family? What about pursuing your passion projects and hobbies?

I'll leave it to you to figure out where to spend your newfound time and money.

My job is to help you build a system to enjoy the benefits I'm describing while avoiding the downsides. Speaking of downsides.

Avoiding Freelance Hell: Indebted & Trapped

You know the amazing potential of freelancing, but are you aware of the risks?

What I don't want to happen is that you go down the freelance path seeking the benefits, only to have them escape your reach, and you end up in a nightmare instead.

Imagine needing to make your mortgage payment, and you're out of money.

What if your client owes you money and is unable or unwilling to pay?

Imagine having a trip planned to Disney with your family, and you can't go because you need the money just to survive.

Imagine having a good year only to discover you spent all your tax money, and now you have to find a way to pay Uncle Sam without the repo man coming for your car.

The Blueprint Required

Like any endeavor worth doing, there are rewards and risks. I'm here to help you maximize your rewards while minimizing your risks.

That is where Path of the Freelancer helps you assess the freelancing journey to know the systems required to reach your time and money goals while preventing the downsides of nightmare mode.

Path of the Freelancer is an easy read that walks you through the eight achievements required to flourish as a freelancer.

By the time you've finished the book, you'll know exactly what's required to succeed as a freelancer and avoid the traps along the way.

This book is a Time Machine into your future. It lets you see if this would work for you.

If freelancing is the right path, Path of the Freelancer will give you a blueprint to follow so you can follow the paved path and not have to pioneer, learning all these lessons the hard way.

And I won't even require you to send me a check with a portion of all the money you made, delivered by you, using all that time you've freed up from your normal 9-5 job. Although I would appreciate a review 🤪

If, after discovering the blueprint, you realize freelancing is not for you, then you've just saved yourself a future nightmare and the wasted time moving towards your dreams.

So what do you say? Want to discover that potential and see if freelancing is your next life change?

I've read "Path Of The Freelancer" in its entirety and recommend it to anybody who's looking to start freelancing - in any field - and also to those who already are freelancers. Jason is extremely perceptive and is filled with valuable insight that he regularly pours into others in an effort to help them. This book is his attempt to do that for those that he'd otherwise not be able to help.

Keith Taylor, Professional Freelance Photographer

"As a freelancer, Path of the Freelancer is a must-read. It's a brilliant piece of work I glean from and recommend to all my colleagues. It will be my go-to guide for years to come!"

Allison Miller, Speaker and Author of Desperate for Love

"With the right balance of personal experience and solid business advice, Jason has written a comprehensive guide to achieving freelance success. Infused with memorable analogies and infographics, The Path of the Freelancer appeals to a variety of learning types, and remains engaging throughout an impressive amount of content. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is either getting into freelancing or ready to take their current business to the next level."

Ryan Battles, Co-Founder of Harpoon (A Freelancer's Financial Tool)

"Jason Montoya offers freelancers an in-depth roadmap on how to succeed in what is rapidly becoming the career of choice for many people. The book is structured in eight 'achievements' that logically take the reader from understanding the lifestyle of a freelancer to marketing, sales, client relationships, and finances - from both a business and personal basis. It is a working guide and invaluable resource for both novice freelancers and those who have been involved in this way of making a living for many years."

Toby Bloomberg, Social Media Specialist

"Jason offers tremendous insight to not only the freelancer but to any professional wanting to hone their skills in the communications and marketing space. His insightful and wise commentary is always refreshing and his perspectives, unique and thoughtful. A great read."

Michael Stewart

"I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone wanting to become a freelancer! Jason became a successful freelancer in his own right and walks you through his process and path in this book. In this book. He teaches lessons that make the path to freedom through freelancing so clear. Thanks so much for putting this together for everyone wanting to become a freelancer Jason!!"

Jason Long, Tangent Solutions

"Jason Montoya offers his readers a practical decision framework and roadmap that they can use to launch a thriving freelancing practice. The wealth of actionable pieces of advice that Mr. Montoya gives is also useful to freelancers with an established practice.

To his credit, the author is very honest about what he has done both right and wrong during his professional, personal, and spiritual journey. The experience that Mr. Montoya gained at Noodlehead Marketing, which he founded and then shut down, clearly helped him in successfully transitioning into freelancing. His expertise in marketing communication was clear to me when I had the opportunity to listen to a presentation that he gave recently in Atlanta, GA.

Importantly, the book under review is also useful to the clients who pay for the expertise of freelancers. Freelancers and clients have a significantly higher probability of building a win-win relationship if they have a better appreciation for their respective needs.

In summary, the Path of the Freelancer stands out as a practical guide that freelancers and their clients would be wise to consult regularly."
