Freelancing is Going GOOD, But You Want it to Be GREAT!

My first year freelancing in 2014 was chaotic, but it was mostly working out. I made $75 per hour, and I had 1,032 billable hours, earning $72k in my first year.
I could have stopped at that level.
But if I stopped, I would have missed out on paying off $165K in student loans, paying off our minivan, saving for a house deposit, and taking my family to Disneyworld multiple times.
So, I kept going. In 2025, I'm now at $145 per hour, making more than I was in 2014 and working 20 hours per week. My 2024 income was over double what I earned that first year.
